Zero Movie Review
Although Zero has a story with an interesting and inspiring concept, but it fails to execute. The first half of Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif’s film is flat-out fantastic, an unabashed charm-offensive from director Aanand L Rai.
But by the time the second half enters in, Zero feels like an entirely different film from the one we were watching till now.
Zero is a story of three broken individuals, and how they end up healing each other. It is as the film continues, it gets more fanciful. At one point, it dazzles with moments of vivid colours. But at the other it follows dull scenes that fail to launch the drama precisely.
Zero comes undone, because the ambition and the effort are not visible. Film is especially
entertaining in the first half while the script stays on track. But in the end it feels as if the makers threw everything on canvas and decide to see what brings out.
