It has been a tradition in Bollywood of making reel life incidents from the real-life incidents of past centuries. From being the oldest Razia Sultan to the latest Manikarnika. Another similar release that is based on some crime that had happened a long time ago is rumored to be on its way to land at Box Office.

Sonchiriya is an upcoming Bollywood crime film which is directed by Abhishek Chaubey. The screenplay of the movie is well written by Abhishek Chaubey and Sudip Sharma and is expected to be a hit. The movie is produced by Ronnie Screwvala under RSVP Movies and distributed by Zee Studios. The movie stars Sushant Singh Rajput as Lakhna, Bhumi Pednekar as Indumati, Manoj Bajpayee as Man Singh, Ranvir Shorey as Vakil Singh and Ashutosh Rana as Gujjar are cast as the lead artists in the movie and many others as well. The film was earlier scheduled to be released on 8 February 2019 but now it is delayed till 1st March 2019.

Sonchiriya Movie Plot:

The story of ‘Sonchiriya’ is a concept set based on the real incident that revolves around the Chambal dacoits and shows an era of the 1970s when the ravens of Chambal used to be in the kingdom of the devastating dacoits. Sushant Singh Rajput will be seen appearing in the role of a dacoit of Chambal in Sonchiriya movie. The story also shows a romantic angle between Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar.
