‘Raat Akeli Hai’: Nawazuddin Siddiqui 0n The Streets Of Lucknow


Recently the very talented actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui was seen filming a scene from his upcoming film, ‘Raat Akeli Hai’. The film was shooting on the roads of Thakurganj in Lucknow. Nawazuddin was busy shooting for Honey Trehan’s upcoming film. The actor characterized as a cop riding a motorbike and investigating the mystery of a case. Without surprise, the streets of Thakurganj observed a huge crowd on the roads to see their favorite actor perform live.

The film extensively shot in Lucknow including Qaiserbagh Bus Stand and its Police Station. Locations also include adjoining areas like Malihabad, Kanpur for approximately 22 days. The shooting of ‘Raat Akeli Hai’ is pursuing both Nawazuddin and Shweta in Lucknow. The film also features actors like Radhika Apte, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Aditya Srivastava. Nawazuddin will essay the role of a cop. ‘Raat Akeli Hai’ is a crime thriller set in rural India essaying Shweta in an important role.

This will mark as the second collaboration of Shweta Tripathi with Nawazuddin Siddiqui after ‘Haraamkhor’. Speaking about the same, Shweta said, “Acting alongside Nawaz bhai is learning. He is a master of the craft and makes you look good by just being in the same fame. I take this as an honor to be able to work with him again”. In between shoots and vanity shots, Nawazuddin Siddiqui keenly interacted with fans and locals, getting to know the city better.

Some fans even got the opportunity to have something to remember to get photos with him. Nawaz also clicked some pictures with the real cops who were taking care of his security during his shoot. Although detail about the story is scarce, the film will have strong content.
