Priyanka Chopra announced her next Hollywood film
Priyanka Chopra told Ellen Degeneres.
“I am developing a feature with Barry Levinson. He is an iconic American director. We are developing it (from the perspective of) Sheela who is this guru who originated from India. She was his (Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh aka Osho) right-hand woman and she was devious. She created a whole cult in America. People call him Osho. I don’t know if you’ve heard of him. I am developing that next for me to star in and produce.”

Osho, originally named Rajneesh, was an Indian guru who became a global sensation in the ’90s. His philosophy was rather seen as revolutionary by his followers, but for the rest of the world, it was a cult. Chopra didn’t say on the show that she would be playing Maa Sheela clearly but one of her representatives later confirmed that she might be playing the same with ease.
