After getting super gorgeous Priyanka Chopra as betterhalf, 26-year-old actor-singer Nick Jonas is returning to Sony’s sequel to “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle”. He will reprise his role as Jefferson “Seaplane” McDonough. This came into view when Nick Jonas shared a quote on twitter saying “Guess who’s back… Let’s go people! The #Jumanji sequel is on the way and I couldn’t be more excited to bring Alex back to the big screen”. Jeff Pinkner , Scott Rosenberg and Kasdan have penned the script of the sequel.
While Jumanji, a reboot of Robin Williams’ 1995 film Jumanji, was released in December 2017. It graped 960 million dollars at the global office. The film was a sequel to the 1995 hit “Jumanji,” starring Robin Williams which will bow out on December 13 this year. Set in the present day, the story follows four high school students placed in detention together. The setting has somewhat twisted with a video game instead of a board game, on which the book and original 1995 film was based.

Although the plot of the film is being kept under wraps. It is clear that Jack Black, Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan are set to return. While Awkwafina is in final negotiations for a significant role. Danny Glover and Danny DeVito have also joined the cast. The four actor teens from the first film namely Ser’Darius Blain, Madison Iseman, Morgan Turner, Alex Wolff, who played the younger versions of Johnson, Hart, Black and Gillan’s characters, are also returning for the sequel.
Previously the actor just completed production on Roland Emmerich’s Midway and the thriller Chaos Walking with Daisy Ridley and Tom Holland. The very talented actor played the role of Alex Vreeke in the 2017 blockbuster.
Nick Jonas is all set and super excited to return for the sequel.
