George Timothy Clooney – famously known as George Clooney; a proud father of cute twins (Ella and Alexander) and the loving husband of Amal Clooney is a renowned Hollywood actor, screenwriter, film producer, and director. Born in the entertainer family “Clooney” at the summer of 1961 he soon moves into the film business with the bloom of 1980.

The success was pacing but gained cult status with the Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino-produced film From Dusk Till Dawn. It was just the beginning, in 1997, People Magazine voted him the “Sexiest Man Alive”. Soon, in 2006 he received the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the film “Syriana” and in 2013 as a producer for “Argo” (Best Picture).

George Clooney grew up as the son of newscaster Nicholas Joseph Clooney and former beauty queen Nina Bruce Warren in Kentucky and Ohio. Already at the age of five, he assists his father behind the scenes of his game show but is actually only interested in sports. In addition to basketball, baseball is Clooney’s passion. 

Prior to entering the film industry, in 1977 he tried his luck as a professional baseball player at the Cincinnati Reds. Say a bad luck or consider a good luck for the film fraternity there he gets no contract. and enrolls instead at the Northern Kentucky University with the aim of becoming a journalist. Finally, it was his cousin Miguel Ferrer who gets him his first job in front of the camera. Thus he leaves university without a degree in 1982 and moves to Los Angeles to receive the necessary training.

Clooney was married from 1989 to 1993 with the American actress Talia Balsam. After the divorce, Clooney was in numerous short-term affairs with beautiful models. But in April 2014, the actor got engaged to Amal Alamuddin, whom he married in Venice of the same year. In June 2017, her twins Ella and Alexander were born.

The Professional career of George Clooney

George Clooney’s beginnings as an actor was not exactly a success. Most of the productions he participates in are never released or postponed after one episode. With a few appearances in successful series, finally he got the chance of a lifetime: In 1994, he slips into the role of a pediatrician, which gained him a fame. Thereafter success was with him, he worked as Ross in the popular series “Emergency Room” and that was an absolute crowd pleaser. His first movie – a cult film “From Dusk till Dawn” was also a success and the fame was immense thereafter.

Since the late 1990s, George Clooney has also worked as a screenwriter, producer, and director. Especially honored in his McCarthy-era film “Good night and good luck“. On June 22, 2013, he completed the eight-month work, where he took over the direction, production, and role of a leading actor.
