Actors Aparshakti Khurana and Divyendu Sharma, two actors known for their comic timing. In fact, the two are ready to come together for a Yoodlee Films’ production to be title as Kanpuriye. As the film title suggests the film will be based in the city of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The movie revolves around a man (apparently played by Aparshakti). He tries to bring literacy to his village in Kanpur through his quirky yet social enterprise.
The coming of age film will be helmed by T for Taj writer Ashish Aryan and bankrolled by Yoodley Films. The duo Aparshakti Khurana and Divyendu Sharma will join supporting cast. Vijay Raaz, Harshita Gaur, Rajshri Deshpande, and Harsh Mayar are the names, for instance. Kanpuriye is going to be a coming-of-age film of three different men from Kanpur. The shooting of the film has already started. likewise, viewers saw Divyendu Sharma in Batti Gul Meter Chalu (2018) and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. We know Aparshakti for playing characters from the Hindi heartland. He played a north Indian in films like Dangal (2016), Stree (2018), and the upcoming Luka Chuppi (2019). While Harshita Gaur is playing the female lead.
The movie will witness the reunion of Divyendu and Harshita. The duo shared the screen together in digital series set in Mirzapur, wherein Sharma played Gaur’s nemesis. The 35-year-old got an appreciation for his negative performance in the series. In addition, Rajshri Deshpande is another actor to join the cast team members.
