Chris Pratt is one of Hollywood’s most lovable action stars. He came into limelight with his prominent role as Andy Dwyer in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation (2009–2015), for which he too received critical acclaim and was nominated for the Critics Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2013. Last year Chris Pratt was also listed as the fifth “best actor for the buck” by Forbes. Having two blockbusters in his bags this rocking year (Avengers: Infinity Wars and Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom) the actor is almost confident for another profitable year.
But markedly he has come a long way from his homeless stripping days and living in a van to such a charming superstar. Recalling his struggling past Pratt told Entertainment Weekly in 2014, that his high school wrestling coach reminds him about time when he went to his office. The coach said, ‘Chris, what do you want to do with yourself?’ ” To this Chris Pratt replied “I don’t know, but I know I’ll be famous and I know I’ll make as ton of money.” Still, Pratt had no idea how he was going to accomplish that. “I’ve never really had a plan,” he told people.com in 2014. “I’ve always been a bit of a ham, I guess.”
Taking about past life Christopher Michael Pratt was born in Virginia, Minnesota. When Pratt was three years old, the family moved to Lake Stevens, Washington. Growing up there he cultivated his glory by selling blackberries door-to-door. As of 2014, after his Father’s death his mother still worked at grocery store. Pratt packed his charm and went to study acting at a local community college but for half a semester only. At the age of 19, he began working as a stripper. In an interview with Buzzfeed in 2013, Chris Pratt said “I was always a very much naked person. I loved to always get naked. I was very free, so I thought; I may get well paid”.
Although he was homeless for a time, but the actor always knew he’d be successful and famous one day.
