Atif Aslam’s song was drop out from one of the most promising albums of this year the “Notebook”. This came into immediate action after the brutal terror attack in Pulwama. Just after the sudden tragedy several film bodies, including the All Indian Cine Workers Association issued a statement announcing a “total ban” on Pakistani actors and artists working in the Hindi film industry. ‘Notebook’, is a film by Salman Khan Productions. It serves as the launch pad for Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl.
The movie had two songs sung by Atif Aslam. A source close to the film confirms that Atif’s voice will no longer be retained in the two songs. Armaan Malik will give vocal to one track. Similarly, the other song will be rendered by Vishal Mishra, who is the music composer as well. Mitron and Filmistaan fame Nitin Kakkar will helm ‘Notebook’. Nitin had said at the event “We have got a new voice.
Vishal Mishra gives his voice for Notebook
There’s only one song of Atif Aslam in the film and we will have to re-do it.” And for now, Nitin Kakkar has confirmed it at an event in Mumbai on Thursday that the Atif Aslam song in Notebook will be redone by a new voice i.e, of Vishal Mishra, who previously did music composition for Race 3. The man has composed the album which will not include any proper recreations. It will have romantic tracks, dance and folks numbers as well. Notebook will release on March 29.
However, keeping the present sentiments in mind, Notebook, in fact, will not even release in Pakistan, as announced by co-producer Murad Khetani. Again T-Series had released an Atif Aslam single titled ‘Baarishein’ which, it now, has unlisted from its YouTube channel. While you can still watch the video using the YouTube link, you cannot find it directly on the label’s YouTube channel.
