I’m very new in the market there, barely one film old so they have to attach big names to it in the other cast. That’s happening right now,” Ali told in an interview. “We were supposed to start the biopic by the end of this year. But I think now it will be January 2020. I’ve to finish my commitments here first.” Ali said that he cannot talk much about the Hollywood film now as he has already signed a contract. However, he said that this Hollywood film is a war drama. It is about the Iraq war and is a biopic.

His role in the movie is that of a writer, the original man who is still alive and he is very happy with the project. Ali Fazal digs out to be the first Indian actor to star in a biopic in the west. The film is set to go on floors in summer this year and will take over a few months of shooting in parts to complete the project. While refusing to divulge information about Ali’s character the actor’s spokesperson said, ”Currently, the other cast of the film is being locked”.
The ‘Fukrey’ actor at present is busy promoting ‘Milan Talkies’, directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. Kannada star Shraddha Srinath has been paired opposite Ali Fazal in this movie. The film will release on 15th March.
